I read hair and blood for what they say about minerals, and I prepare people for plant medicine and help them integrate it afterwards. The Peru work is held each year in the Sacred Valley, where Miguel Mendiburu guides the ceremonies.
Where this came from
I was ill for years, and nobody could say why. I found the answers in mineral test patterns and in the mountains of Peru, where I apprenticed with curanderos. Those are still the two halves of the work.
What I trained in
The law degree earns its keep more often than people expect. It shapes how I think about evidence, about what a practitioner may honestly claim, and about where the line sits between guidance and diagnosis.

The other half
Music has run through my life since childhood, and the sound work has its own home at hamidjabbar.com. Sound meditation with gongs, crystal bowls, flutes, voice and percussion, events in Phoenix, remote sessions and the Sound Practitioner training are all there.

The nonprofit
In 2024 I founded the Huachuma Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3), to slow that down, and I chair it. The garden is a terraced hillside at Taray in the Sacred Valley, on land Miguel Mendiburu owns and stewards, with several hundred cacti in the ground today, room for five thousand, and every retreat group planting more.
